Description
This Stage-1 cold air intake from aFe MagnumFORCE is engineered to increase airflow and deliver measurable gains for E39 BMW 525i and 528i L6 applications (2.5L / 2.8L). The system uses a durable heat shield and a massive Pro 5R conical air filter to raise intake velocity and improve power — the factory-tested kit produces about 6 hp and 7 lb‑ft of torque while remaining washable and reusable. A unique 3-angle adapter integrates with the MAF sensor tube for optimized air delivery, and the Stage-1 design makes the intake one of the easiest, direct-fit bolt-on upgrades for 1997–2003 BMW E39 platforms.
