Engineered by DEI, the Boom Mat Damping Material provides high-performance interior isolation by soaking up noise, vibrations, squeaks and rattles from roads, engines, and audio systems. It pairs a thick asphalt-free, pure butyl damping layer with a 4 mil aluminum stiffening top skin to trap noise between the layers, delivering a quieter cabin and crisper stereo performance. The self-adhesive design features an easy-peel release liner and adheres to interior surfaces, including vertical or overhead panels, even in extreme temperatures. This two-sheet kit covers roughly 4 sq ft, each sheet measuring 12.5in x 24in, with a 2mm thick profile for robust damping while keeping weight down.
